He is survived by: his sisters, Ginger Tate Compton and Patricia Tate Weaver; his son William Wallace Tate III; his grandchildren, Shaina, Jaymen and Riley; and his great grandchildren, Everleigh and Dallas. He is also survived by one nephew, four nieces, and several great nieces and nephews.
