It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Real McCoy Drew of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Drew and Faye Doris Ferguson Drew; his daughter Natasha Drew; his siblings, Allen Drew, Cynthia Drew and Magie Perry; and his stepson Damon Banks.
He is survived by: his wife Latoya Pamela Taylor Drew; his children, William Andrea Drew (Whitney) of Lenoir and Sankaa Drew of Lenoir; his stepchildren, Lashawn Fox (Robin) of Lenoir, Lasonya Bennett of Morganton and Camella Hodge of Winston-Salem; and his siblings, Larry Perry of Lenoir, Ted Drew (Marissa) of Lenoir, Sterling Drew of Lenoir, Kevin Drew of Lenoir and Yvonne Howell of Lenoir. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
