He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Chandler and Mary Holden Chandler; his wife Thelma Greene Chandler; and his siblings, Tommy Chandler, Jones Chandler, Wesley Chandler, John Chandler, Lily White and Emma Bumgarner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Scruggs (Steve) and Cora "Corki" Jones (Gary); his grandchildren, Dawn Wright (Tommy) and Matthew Miller; his great grandchildren, Daniel Wright and Lincoln Wright; and his sister Josie Duncan.
