He was predeceased by: his parents, Majorie Hudson McNeely and Buland Short; his aunt Lillie; and his uncle Carmie Wortman. He is survived by: his wife Linda Wortman; his children, Jeff Wortman, Sr., Sondra Wortman and Kathy Pittman; his stepsons, Justin and Kevin Shell; and his siblings, Libby Williams, Mary Ann Cook, Pat Blanton, Jerry McNeely and Scott Hudson. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
