Wanda Benge Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wanda Benge (Lenoir, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Wanda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wanda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Van Harris and Lois P. Harris; and her siblings, Barbara Starnes and Robert Harris. She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Mitchum (Wally) and Melanie Walls (Kenneth); and her stepchildren, David Benge and Diana Winemaster (Bill).
