He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence A. Coffey and Sarah Verlee Bryant Coffey; his wife Beulah Lee Small Coffey; and his brothers, Donald Raymond Coffey, James Coffey and Roy Coffey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Lovins (Keith) of Lenoir and Sarah Bumgarner (Henry) of Granite Falls; his grandson Brandon Lovins (Casey); his great grandchildren, Ava Lovins, Madalyn Lovins and Rylee Lovins; his brother Alec Coffey (Betty) of Lenoir; and his sister-in-law Iris Coffey.
