He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter McKinley Davis, Jr. (Junie) and Shirley Lorraine Kincaid Davis. He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Lane Davis (Berry); his children, April Coffey (Shannon) and Travis Hamby (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Dylan Coffey, Emma Coffey, Ellie Hamby, Jackson Mercer and Jillian Mercer; his siblings, Vicki Safford, Donna Wilson (John), Marsha Pendry (Bill) and Bill Davis (Kathy); and his uncle Jeff Davis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home (522 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home (522 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A burial was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Memorial Park (2017 Wilkesboro Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
