She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Triplett and Pearl Triplett; and her brother Harry Crotts. She is survived by: her children, Becky Plyler of Lenoir, Nick Hendrix (Lori) of Lenoir and Kathy Campbell of Lenoir; her siblings, Harold Crotts (Kay) of Houston, TX, Mary Thompson of Smithfield, NC and Lynda Triplett of Santa Rosa, California.; and her grandchildren, Brandon Miller (Liane) of Maryland, Erica Hartley (Tracy) of Lenoir, Charlie Campbell (Britnye) of Lenoir, Chris Campbell of Lenoir, Matt Hendrix (Tabitha) of Hudson, Dylan Hendrix of Lenoir, Brandi Hood (Josh) of Lenoir and Garrett Hendrix (Kalyn) of Lenoir. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to The National Kidney Foundation or a charity of their choice.
