It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Elizabeth Huntley (Lenoir, North Carolina), who passed away on December 22, 2024, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Basil Huntley and Frances "Smokey" Huntley; her siblings, Donna Nero, Lisa Flechsig and Steve Huntley; her nieces and nephews, Michelle Choe (Tommy), Kathryn Lutz, Kacy Huntley (Clint Kelly), Kellan Huntley, Joshua Lutz (Sherri), Huntley Nero (Abby) and Cole Nero; and her caregiver Ken Hogan.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service (1070 Taylorsville Rd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

The family respectfully requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Lower Creek Baptist Church in Lenoir, in memory of Ginny.
