Virginia (Ginger) Chester Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2020, at the age of 84, Virginia (Ginger) Chester (Lenoir, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Stout and Christine Lovins Stout; her husband James Chester; and her siblings, George Stout and Betty Jo Greene of Lenoir.
She is survived by: her sons, Doug Chester (Jessica) of Granite Falls and Rusty Chester (Emilee) of Taylorsville; her stepson Michael Coleman of Cleveland, TN; her daughters, Dianne Whitt (William) of Lenoir, Elaine Permuy (Bill) of Boynton Beach, FL, Jimma Dotson (Michael) of Hudson and Becky Lowrance (Ray) of Lenoir; her brother Mickey Stout (Nita) of Lenoir; and her sisters-in-law, Glenda Church (Willard) of Lenoir and Mavis Gragg of Lenoir. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great- grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Memorials may be made in honor of Ginger to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood Street Lenoir, NC 28645.
