She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil H. Peters and Sarah Elizabeth Mullins Peters; and her siblings, Virgil Hadsel Peters, Robert Peters, Don Peters, Ruth Whited and Agnes Massey.
She is survived by: her husband Willie W. Patton of Lenoir, NC; and her children, Allen Clough (Sherry) of Lenoir, NC, Deborah Townsend (Ronnie) of Stella, NC and Robyn Padgett (Lyle) of Sheridan, IN. She is also survived by many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and a by a host of nieces and nephews.
