She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Hill McNeil and Gladys Hawkins McNeil; her husband James F. Joines; and her brothers, Ham McNeil, John McNeil and Stanley McNeil.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Bumgarner (Deron) of Newton and Janet Howard (Lee) of Lewisville, NC; her siblings, Clark McNeil (Irene) of Ferguson, Pat McNeil (Suzanne) of Wilkesboro, Earl McNeil of Purlear and Muriel Walker (Danny) of Ferguson; and her grandchildren, Emily Bumgarner, Diana Bumgarner, Joshua Howard and Lydia Howard. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
