He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Haney and Ruby McGarr Haney; his wife Elizabeth Diane Haney; his daughter Rachel Shehan (Chad) of Hickory; his brother Mike R. Haney (Hope) of Granite Falls; his nieces, Brooke Winebarger and Meredith Haney; and his grandchildren, Abbey Shehan and Caleb Coffey.
Due to the COVID-19 graveside services will be private.
