She was predeceased by: her parents, Turner Green and Dulce Younce Green; her husband Lloyd Woodruff; her children, Brent Greene and Delena McCarty; her grandchildren, Michael Greene Jr. and Tammy Palmer; and her son-in-law Terry Gilbert.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Greene (Sue) of Lenoir, George Greene Jr. (Karen) of Lenoir, Dare Pruette (Wayne) of Lenoir, Sandra Gilbert of Lenoir and Gail Curtis (John) of Morganton; and her siblings, David Green of Morganton, Danny Green of Wilkesboro, Mary Ellen Blankenship of Wilkesboro, Joyce Osborne of Hiddenite and Georgie Howell of Virginia. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
