She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Lee Bowman. She is survived by: her parents, Robert A. Brookshire and Debra Thompson Brookshire; her children, John David Bowman, Raelyn Adams Bowman and Abigail Lynn Bowman; her siblings, David Ray Brookshire (Samantha) of Granite Falls and Stephanie Nicole Vaughan (Cody) of Lenoir; and her grandmother Elizabeth Thompson. She is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
