He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Pruitt Macchia of Lenoir; his children, Sofia Macchia, Alyson Anderson (Tracy), Mike Macchia (Tonia), Mark Macchia (Deanne) and Morris Macchia; and his brother Robert Macchia. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, his 5 great-grandchildren.
