It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas J. Basto in Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on September 7, 2021, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his son Brennon Eli Knowles of Mount Olive; his father Joseph Thomas Basto of Kinston; and his siblings, Joseph T. Basto, Jr. (Jill) of Florida, Anthony J. Basto (Ann Jessica) of New York, Deanna Casper of New York, Chandra Garrow (Kevin) of New York, Areanna Basto of New York and Jennifer Bashant (Rich) of New York.

He volunteered his auctioneering talents for charity events, and he enjoyed selling cars.
