He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel B. Harris and Nell Knight Harris. He is survived by: his wife Nancy McGee Harris; his daughters, Teresa Harris Hoyle of Lenoir and Kim Harris Lambert (Jeff Lambert) of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Peter Lambert (Michelle), Aaron Lambert and Sarah Lambert; and his great grandchild Hudson Michael Lambert.
