She was predeceased by: her parent Gurney Junior Watson; and her son Troy Lee Watson. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Berry Watson of Lenoir; her boyfriend Donald Ray Fortner of Lenoir; her siblings, Michael Watson (Chasity) of Wilkesboro, Mary Denmark of Hickory, Paula Watson (Kenny) and Pamela Watson of Lenoir; her grandson Tyler Watson; and her great grandchild Jasper Grey Watson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
