He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jean Taylor and George Taylor; his wife Jane K. Taylor of Wichita Kansas; his sons, Pete Taylor (Melody) of Hickory, Tim Taylor and Craig Taylor (Kristin) of Hickory; his grandsons, Andrew Taylor (Sara) of Hickory and Connor Taylor of Granite Falls; his great grandchild Kallie of Hickory; and his sister Lena Woodring of Meat Camp.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care at 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645 or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
