She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kenneth and Pansy Watson Walker; and her sister Katherine Deal. She is survived by: her friend Tarheels Basketball; her children, Tyron "Ty" Scott Bryant (Kristen) of Georgia and Sylvia "Diane" Bridges (Jack) of Lenoir; her brothers, Benjamin Morris Walker (Clara) of Lenoir and Joe Douglas Walker (Carol) of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Rita Jean Hollar (Jason), Elliott Bridges (Danielle), Lily Bryant, Levi Bryant, Rosie Bryant, Lyric Bryant, Isaiah Bryant, Maggie Bryant and Millie Jo Bryant; her great grandchildren, Katie, Cameron, Khloe, Macy, Liam and Justin; her grandson Shea Bridges; her great grandchild Ben Whisnant; her grandson-in-law Jason Hollar; and her friend Chris Shook. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
