He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas H. Dula and Virginia Dula (Triplett); his son Thomas Steve Dula, II; and his siblings, Gordon Dula, Lee Roy Dula and Barbara Eckard.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia May Dewitt; his children, Rachell Dula Moore of Lenoir, Ryan Dula (Brooke Gilham) and Christopher Dula of Lenoir; his grandchildren, J. T. Dula, Max Carter Dula, Bailey Caroline Dula, Ronan Allen Putman and Frankie Walter Dula; his siblings, Shirley Hackworth of Lenoir, Gwendolyn (Roger Church) and George Dula of Lenoir; and his nephews, Randall, Brian and Mark Dula.
