He was predeceased by: his father Hardy Eugene; and his wife Vanda Story Crisp. He is survived by: his daughter Hailey Dancy (Josh) of Taylorsville; his sisters, Debbie Crisp of Collettsville and Kathy Mikeals of Lenoir; and his grandchildren, Makenah Melvin, Hunter Dancy and Avery Dancy.
