It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Spears Rj of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on April 1, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Adolphus Spears; his wife Ina Me Phillips Spears; his children, Rita Gragg and Edward Spears; his granddaughter Deanna Spears; and his great great grandchild Dean Holzmann.

He is survived by: his children, Garry Spears (Carol) of Morganton, Roger Spears (Mackie) of Lenoir, David Spears (Teresa) of Lenoir, Keith Spears (Debra) of Collettsville and Cathy Parlier (Harold) of Lenoir. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
