With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Jean Lail Lambert Christopher of Lenoir, North Carolina, born in Valdese, North Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlo Peter and Dizie Bradshaw Lail; and her siblings, Evelyn Hefner, Melvin and Ray Lail.

She is survived by: her husband Gary Warren Christopher; her children, Angela Lambert Smith (Doug) of Shelby and Keith Lambert of Cherryville; her sister Gladys Abee of Morganton; her grandsons, Baylen Smith (Brianna) of Charlotte and Isaac Smith (Cierra) of Lawndale; and her great grandchild Rachel Smith of Lawndale, Five. She is also survived by Five Step-children and nine step-grandchildren.

Mask and social distancing will be required.
