With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelba Saunders Harris (Lenoir, North Carolina), who passed away on January 3, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Venoy Saunders and Verna Smith Saunders; her son Kenny Eugene Harris; her grandson Jason Matthew Carter; her son-in-law David O. Burris; and her siblings, Jerry Saunders, Lois Tyler, Carolyn Hampton and Elaine Wright.
She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Cannon (Bill), Kathy Burris (Bud Cook) and Lisa King (Timmy); and her daughter-in-law Lorie Harris.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Union Grove Baptist Church, Prayer Garden or Food Ministry.
