She was predeceased by: her father Mathey Leroy Murphy; her husband Ray Jackson "Jack" Underwood; and her sister Bettye Sills. She is survived by: her daughter Melanie U. Anderson (Buddy) of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Taylor Anderson, Jessica of Apex, NC, Lauren Anderson and David of Huntersville, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Margie Underwood of Concord and Sue Underwood of Winston Salem.
