She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Soots and Jessie Childress Soots; her husband Eugene Hamby; and her sisters, Mabel Soots Murry, Pauline Soots, Shirley Soots Bynum and Betty Jo Soots Moore.
Due to COVID-19 a memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Hamby will be held at a later date.
