She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlonus McMahan and Helen Piercy McMahan; her sons, Michael Franklin and Carlonus Franklin; and her brother Kevin McMahan.

She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Lowe (Dillon Triplette) of Lenoir; her grandchildren, Michael Lowe (Amber) of Lenoir and Alexus Bentley (Travis) of Granite Falls; and her great grandchildren, Paisley Lowe, Bailey Lowe, Noa Lowe, Haven Bentley and Layne Bentley.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grandview Park Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
