He is survived by: his son Dylan Coffey of Lenoir; his stepdaughter Alisha Ramsey of Taylorsville; the mother of his children Julie Coffey of Lenoir; his siblings, James Coffey of Lenoir, Clyde Coffey (Vicki) of Lenoir, Elaine Price of Lenoir, Lena Carlton of Lenoir and Debra Crouch (Mike) of Pilot Mountain; his grandchildren, Kenzie Wheeler and Austin Wheeler; and his great grandchild Jaxson Wheeler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
