She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Parson and Clara Preslar Parson; her husband Rev. Paul Helton; and her siblings, Paul, Thad, Sherrill, Clyde, Harold Parson, Grace Hoke and Lois Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Broyhill (James) of Lenoir, Terry Helton (Peggy) of Lenoir, Donald Helton (Diana) of Lenoir and Dennis Helton (Sherry) of Marion; her grandsons, Eric Helton, Bryan Helton and Greg Helton; her great grandchildren, Josh Bollinger, Scott Bollinger, Andrew Jimeson, Jason Powell, Maddox, Ryland Jimeson, Derek Powell, Isaiah, Grayson Helton, James Broyhill and Clayton Rosner; and her granddaughter Crystal Bollinger. She is also survived by five grandsons; four granddaughters; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 face masks and social distancing will be required.
