He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wesley and Toy Harmon Greene; his wife Lois Prestwood Greene; and his siblings, Arlo, Paul, Joe, Tommy, Willard Greene, Nina Bell Chandler, Mary Ann Clark and Thelma Chandler.
He is survived by: his children, Russell Greene (Kimberly) of Taylorsville, James Greene (Kimberly Jarvis), Sandra Drum (Gregory) and Laura Kelly (Joseph) of Lenoir; his siblings, James Greene, Buster Greene, Jane Braswell, Rosa Lee Rash, Patsy Richardson and Kaye Connor; his grandchildren, Brittany Daniels (Bradley) of Taylorsville, Jarvis Greene (Alexis) of South Carolina, Tyler Greene (Shannon), Cade Kelly and Ava Kelly of Lenoir; and his great grandchildren, Noah Daniels, Naomi Daniels, Jaxson Greene, Arlo Greene, Charles Greene and Kayleigh Greene.
