Ruby Essie May Snipes Thompson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Essie May Snipes Thompson of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on October 29, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her adoptive father James David Snipes (Alice Collis Snipes); her husband Horace Suddreth Thompson; and her sons, Baby Thompson and Horace Michael Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Alice Irene Phillips (Roy), Doris Hilda Watson (Dale), Douglas Ray Thompson (Sharon) and David Charles Thompson (Beth). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.
