He is survived by: his wife Agnes Nell Mumford Ewell; his children, Kim Adams (Thomas), Gary Ewell (Allison) and Janet Buckner; his grandchildren, Ashley Collins (Brandon), Kevin Thomas (Allison), Jordan Adams, Cameron Winston (Allen), Dakota Smith, Scott Ewell, Josh Ewell and Kaylin Barefoot; and his great grandchildren, Kaleb Thomas, Breighton Thomas, Valerie Collins, Olivia Winston, Winston and Stella Mae Thomas.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial (5971 Dudley Rd, Grifton, NC 28530).
