It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Edgar Bryant of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on September 26, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kathleen Prestwood and Ambrose Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Linda Winebarger Bryant; his children, Roy Bryant Jr. (Luzviminda), Robin Laws II, Wanda Watson (Jeff), Rachel Ellis (Frank), Adriane Laws and Lana Laws; his stepmother Faye Bryant; and his sister Sybil Myers. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren along with a number of nephews and nieces.
