He is survived by: his parents, Matthew Perkey and Kate Davis; his sister Violet Perkey; his grandparents, Cam Xoan Thi Nguyen, Joseph Maroun, Mandy Benfield and Joey Setzer (Tyra); his great-grandparents, Wade, Anita Pittman, Ronnie, Dreama Setzer and Thomas Ni Nguyen; and his aunts and uncles, Sandy Edwards, Samuel, Shelbie Perkey, Morgan Setzer, Savannah Lee Nguyen, Marie Maroun, Josie Maroun, Can Van Thi Nguyen, Trang Nguyen, Danielle Nguyen, Rebecca Nguyen, Te Nguyen, Vu Nguyen, Toan Nguyen and Troung Nguyen.
A reception was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans (1070 Taylorsville Rd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645).
