He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Wilson and Leona Tench Wilson; his wife Norma Crook Wilson; his sons, Roger Lee Wilson, Jr. and Ronald Lee Wilson; and his brothers, Ronnie and Danny Wilson.

He is survived by: his friend Polly; his children, Teresa Wilson Robinson (Dale), Tina Sawyer and Waylon Wilson; his brother Ricky Wilson; his grandchildren, Ashley, Devan, Chase and Alexeya; and his great grandchild Abel Lee.
