He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Hacker (Zach) of Vale and Cynthia Houston (Doug) of Connelly Springs; his granddaughter Madeline Curry (Dylan) of Lenoir; and his siblings, Wornard Watson of Lenoir, Gail Watson (David) of Hudson, Eddie Watson (Laura) of Sawmills and Dale Watson (Joby) of Claremont. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
