He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Martin and Margaret Elizabeth Scott Martin; his wife Delphia Mae Dellinger Martin; and his siblings, Bill Martin and Irene Adkins.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Wayne Martin (Dolly) of Gamewell, Gary Lynn Martin of Hudson and Tracy Renee Martin of Gamewell; his siblings, Roy Martin (Joyce) of Lenoir, Barbara "Bobbie" Hicks of Lenoir, Margaret "Paulette" Smith of Lenoir and Deedee Church (Charles) of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Heather Ann Tufts (Christian), Stephanie Martin, Brandon Marshall (Kayla) and Amber Martin; and his great grandchildren, Grayce Mae Tufts, Carly Marshall, Holden Marshall, Ivy Marshall and Aubrey Marshall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
