He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Swink (Louis) of Lenoir and Mary Ashby Lee of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Destiny Williford, Jacob Adams, Devin Hancock, Emily Adams and Barkley Adams; and his great grandchild Shakya Williford.
