He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virginia Barlow Archer Austin and William Rhyne Archer; his former wife Deborah Gilley Archer; his close friend Bouncer; his wife Debra Chester Archer; his son Robert Archer, Jr. of Charlotte; his stepsons, Marty Gilley (Carol) of Bessemer City and Christopher Johnson (Jung) of Wagram; his daughter Kristin Russell (Chris) of Granite Falls; his stepdaughter Mitzi Frasure (Jason) of Matthews; his brother Sean Archer of California; his grandchildren, Chase Russell, Brookley Russell, Sophie Frasure, Pashence Sparks and Matthew Gilley; his great grandchild Luke Sparks; and his close friend Chevy Belle.
