It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Carroll Townsend (Lenoir, North Carolina), who passed away on November 12, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Townsend and Ada Mann Townsend; his wife Margaret Andrews Townsend; and his son Christopher Andrews. He is survived by: his children, David Townsend (John David Brown) of Conover and Stacy Townsend Johnson (Stacy Johnson) of Lenoir; his siblings, Hugh Townsend (Reba) of Granite Falls, Teresa Andrews of Lenoir, Maxine Warren (Jack) of Lenoir and Patty Greene (Johnny) of Sawmills; his grandchildren, Alex and Julia Richardson; and his great grandchild Madison Richardson.
Due to COVID-19 face masks and social distancing will be required.
