He was predeceased by: his father Robert Wayne Branson; his sister Darlene Blakely; and his niece Jamie Branson. He is survived by: his mother Shelby Jean Roark Branson; and his siblings, Diane Honeycutt (Todd) of Lenoir, Rita Branson (Anthony) of Dallas, NC, Angela Seekamp (Mark) of Rockvaale, TN, Melody Branson (Dennis), Michael Branson of Granite Falls, Skylar Branson of Creston, NC and Logan Branson of Lenoir, NC.
