We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2024, at the age of 83, Richard Simmons of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ballard Simmons and Helen Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Judy Simmons; his sister Julia Reid (Terry); his siblings-in-law, Linda Livingston and Johnny Freeman (Hazel); and his nieces, Juliann Reid and Donna Warren (Chris).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Amorem Hospice in Hudson, North Carolina.
