He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Rodney Barnhardt, Sr. and Virginia Christine Thomas Barnhardt; his son Richard Michael Barnhardt, Jr.; and his brother Bert Rodney Barnhardt, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Phillips Barnhardt; his daughter Lori Good (Ken); his daughter-in-law Kim Barnhardt; his stepdaughter Kendra McGee (Quinn); his grandchildren, Christopher Hudson (Candice), Caleb Barnhardt (Cassidy), Hannah Barnhardt, Dr. Sarah Barnhardt, Bekah Efird (Matt), Kenneth Good and Michaella Good; his stepgrandchildren, Kerrigan McGee and Callen McGee; his great grandchildren, Hayden Hudson, Paisley-Ann Hudson and Montana Hudson; and his sisters, Janice Davidson and Anne Bybee. He is also survived by four brothers-in-law, one aunt and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
