He was predeceased by: his father Otis Watson, Sr.; and his sister Mary Carlton. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jones Watson; his children, Deborah Messer (David Lee Messer Jr.), Teresa Watson Moore (Duke Moore), Tony Watson (Cindy) and Eric Lee Watson; and his siblings, Margret Honeycutt, Morris Watson, Brenda Cornell (Robert Cornell), Peggy Ward (Allen) and Otis Watson, Jr.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three step grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren.
