He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Carpenter, Sr. and Myrtle Faye Carpenter; his wife Lorraine "Memaw" Carpenter; and his pet Snoop. He was also cherished by 1 daughter, 2 sons, 3 step daughters and husbands, numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service (1070 Taylorsville Rd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645).
