She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Beard and Elva Beard (Austin); and her siblings, Roger Dale Beard, Juanita Whisnant, Marietta Coleman and Margie Greene.
She is survived by: her siblings, Louise Beard of Hudson, Patsy Coffey (Tommy) of Lenoir and David Beard (Joyce) of Lenoir.
