Ralph Edward Yates Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Edward Yates (Lenoir, North Carolina), who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Yates and Mamie Matheson Yates; his sons, Ricky Edward Yates and Randall Duane Yates; and his sisters, Gladys Presnell, Marilyn Trivette, Wilma Shook, Lola Townsend, Irene Storie and Rose Edna Harmon.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Edmisten Yates; his granddaughter Darby Lee Bailey Yates; his daughter-in-law Angie Yates of Hickory, NC.; his siblings-in-law, Doris Yates, Mary Yates and Stuart Shook Sr.; and his brothers, Winfred Yates, Tommie Yates, Charlie Everett Yates and Herbert Yates. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
