He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Eugene Shipp and Daisy Love McKay Shipp; his close friend Patsy Dee Hopgood; and his children, DeeAnn Buck, Laura Catherine Lewis (Robert Kemper) of Lenoir, NC, Robin Shipp Ritchey of Gaithersburg, MD and Ralph Craig of Sarasota, FL. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren.
